Panther build 7A202 update available through Software Update.

An update to Panther 7A179 build has been made available by apple through Software Update preferences pane. This update brings the build number to 7A202 while fixing bugs or improving Exposé, Mail and iChat.

During my initial Panther tests, I didn't notice any problem with Mail but iChat and Exposé were quite unstable with some display glitches. After this update both iChat and Exposé look stable. I also noticed a signifiant performance improvement on the Exposé effects and I found the Finder quite more reactive though it's maybe just an impresion. Other issues like the only partially implemented SMB browsing still remain.
It is interesting to notice a new minor feature on Software Update preferences pane. Now, you can see how much data has been downloaded while your updates are coming.
